"I really want to get away from cottagey wallpaper,"
laughs Katherine Morris, describing her new two-tone geometric designs.
Having worked with Peggy Angus, the grande dame of lino-cut papers, Morris
cuts her own blocks and hand prints each pattern; it gives her work real
force. This "Curves and Circle" pattern comes from her current
interest in British modernism ("that robust Thirties style")
though she's keen to work on all sorts of commissions.
